FAQ Entry #477

Home > Support > Frequently Asked Questions > 477

This is a respond to a previously asked question about the A' Design Award and Competition. The full list of frequently asked questions can be accessed here.

#477: The status says REJECTED for my entry but I have paid for this entry to be nominated. What does that mean when my entry is REJECTED?

In your control panel, at hidden cabinet - uploaded designs section, when it says that the entry is rejected, it usually refers to a soft rejection; i.e. if you make a nomination, the entry is still in the competition and it is not eliminated, but the presentation of the entry needs further work. Normally we also send an email about why the entry is not accepted; this acceptance and rejection status usually refers to the presentation of the design rather than the design itself in almost all cases, and when you fix the issues noted (you can see these issues when you click the design in your control panel), you will have opportunity to fix and improve the presentation and the status would chance to approved. In your control panel, at hidden cabinet - uploaded designs section, Rejection does not mean eliminated; you just need to improve presentation and likewise another status; Approved does not mean awarded, it means that the presentation is very good and the work will take part in the competition with a good presentation. In both cases, the entry is not eliminated or awarded; the award status is assigned only after the grand jury voting.
