Social behavioural change needs perspectives and empathy modelling beyond basic observations. Designing for the challenges in society such as changing climatic patterns, urban slum housing involves a balanced blend of systems thinking, urban/service planning and many more.
STATEMENT OF ART:I believe that there are blurred boundaries between science, technology, craft and design. Approaching the interest areas with a balanced blend of creativity, rational thinking and manufacturing feasibility The design today poses a more different realm of challenges than yesterday where bending plywood or forming fibreglass was a major breakthrough innovation. Today, the world needs better intervention beyond the realm of products and materials.
