| DESIGN NAME: Multifunctional Culinary Multipot PRIMARY FUNCTION: Cookware and cooking utensils INSPIRATION: The Multipot impresses with its stylish, functional design quality and its high working economy. The base ring serves as a support for the steamer plate and for hanging / dripping the pasta and frying baskets. Water, condensate and oil remain in the pot and do not drip on the cooking area. The pot is available in anthracite and silver, dishwasher safe and hygienic. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Multipot. not only for professionals. Perfect options for different food preparations. Especially for show cooking, available in professional 1/1 and 2/3 Gastronorm also suitable for household kitchen. For cooking, simmering, warming, cooking pasta, steaming, deep frying with up to 3 frying baskets, for grilling, roasting, braising, sauces ... The multipot fits into every professional kitchen and to every cooking place, electric, ceran, gas, induction or for the Oven OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The multipot offers the possibility to have all kind of cooking techniques available in one single pot system. There is no need to buy extra deep fryer, a pasta cooker, a steamer, all with a separate plug. You have all this in one with the multipot and its accessories. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: 1 Year of development from March 2016. It was firstly shown in public in March 2017 |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The Multipot is made of durable and highly conductive 2.6mm SWISS-PLY® multi-layer material, all other accessories are made of stainless steel. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Available in professional Gastronomy norm sizes. Height 100 mm - 145 mm TAGS: Cooking, Pot, Kitchen, Multifunction, Pasta, Deep Frying, Steaming, Pan, Grill, RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The whole process of research was mainly focussed on 3D-CAD development, followed by prototyping and intense testings in our lab. The results were considered to start the main production. CHALLENGE: The hardest part was the design of the Base Ring, which makes the product so versatile in use.
