DESIGN DETAILS
DESIGN NAME:
Unintentional

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Private Residence

INSPIRATION:
The designer hopes to break the traditional concept of functional zoning and arrange the space according to user needs. The designed space aims to meet user requirements to the greatest extent possible. Therefore, the designer adopts practicality as the main principle in each space, such as adding leisure areas and dressing areas in the kitchen and bathroom. The project uses architectural language to create dialogue and interweaving in the interior structure, enriching the senses.

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The designer arranges the space in a non-traditional way, breaking the conventional functional layout. Each space considers user convenience, such as multi-functional bathrooms, multiple kitchens and dining rooms, areas designed specifically for cats, and flexible fitness areas. The combination of spaces is highly optimized and creating a rich and interesting interior. The design team tells the story of human and residential spaces in a futuristic manner, satisfying the future living environment

OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
This project breaks the traditional concept of functional zoning and layouts flexible spaces based on user circulation. It adopts a three-layer "intelligent box" structure, with each layer interconnected through rotation, creating a versatile structure. Through the combination of multiple technologies, the design team creates a flexible and adaptable living form for the homeowners, maximizing the fulfillment of experiences and needs, and realizing the concept of future homes.

The three different sized "boxes" form a new spatial structure through rotation and interlaced construction, enhancing the sense of layer and variability. The basement uses intelligent lighting to regulate pedestrian flow. Materials used: concrete, art paint, marble, stainless steel, silver mirror

SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES:
SPECIFICATIONS: The project' Area is 660 sqm

TAGS:
Multi-functional zoning, User-centric approach, Intelligent, Adaptable structures, Futuristic home design

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
The design team has created a futuristic home prototype, taking into consideration future needs to the maximum extent. It adopts the concept of "artistic occasions" without setting specific functional zones, allowing for flexible configuration based on user preferences. Each space is rich in functionality, reflecting the concept of the "intelligent box." The design achieves an open living style through the combination of diverse elements, such as functional area design and structural techniques.

CHALLENGE:
The most challenging is the large-scale, tension-filled rotating zigzag within the space. The entire space has been reconfigured multiple times to create a new spatial structure.
