| DESIGN NAME: Brazilian Quartzite PRIMARY FUNCTION: Tiles INSPIRATION: The perhaps unusual combination of ceramic tiles and fashion was born out of our love and passion for beauty. Both brands - Cerrad and La Mania Home happen to share a love of art, fashion, travel and design, which was brought into the world of interiors through a joint effort. As part of this joint venture, gres tile collections came to fruition, tiles inspired by the beauty of the surrounding world and the style of fascinating place – Brazil. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Brazilian Quartzite is a Collection of exceptional ceramic tiles. Just as Brazil can be explored for many years to come, so can the collection inspired by the Brazilian Quartzite let you discover its many faces. Five color variants and an array of formats will one moment surprise you with energy straight out of a colorful carnival in Rio, and the next it will cool you off with its splendor as if you were back at the beach relaxing in the shade of palm trees. Vivacious, but full of class. De nada! OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The production technology used helped to create a material with parameters exceeding those of natural stone. The wide range of formats: 120 x 280, 120 x 120, 60 x 120, allows you to fill any interior regardless of its size. An assortment of colors fits in with the design trends, making it easy to combine with other materials being used in the interior. The customer can additionally choose between polished or matte surfaces. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The Brazilian Quartzite collection has been available for sale since 2021. Its debut took place during the largest International Trade Fair of Ceramics and Bathroom Equipment - Cersaie, in Bologna. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: In mass-dyed gres – a very durable and timeless material (group Bia). Because we use the latest technology, the tiles are extremely durable and resistant to ware and tear, which makes them ideal for use in any type of space. Thanks to the LamGea technology, we were able to obtain a deep tile structure and a perfect mimicry of the natural stone surface with a thickness of only 6mm. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: In mass-dyed, glazed, rectified gres with a structural and polished surface. 5 colour variants: green, amber, black, blue, natural. Formats: 120 x 280, 120 x 120, 60 x 120. Mat, polished. Format 120 x 280 with a 6mm thickness and a stone structure deserves special attention. High technical parameters and excellent aesthetics make these tiles very resistant with a low risk of cracking. Tiles are frost-resistant and have anti-slip properties, thanks to which they are suitable for indoor and outdoor use. The high quality of offered products has been attested to by affirmations, certificates and awards granted to the best manufacturers in the industry. CHALLENGE: The biggest challenge was choosing suitable natural resources and adapting the technology in such a way, where the surface of a 6mm thick tile ideally mimicked that of natural stone.
