| DESIGN NAME: Firefly PRIMARY FUNCTION: Switch INSPIRATION: Using the Firefly is as easy as operating a smartphone. Control the lights in the room by controlling the scattered light points on the screen, and operate the lighting system like a painting. When the switch is not used in daily life, the panel presents a faint dynamic dispersion of light spots. When people approach the screen, the light spots on the screen gather like fireflies. It can be used by users to play photos every day, like a delicate picture frame on the wall of the space, or the personalized expression of the user's preferences through the definition interface recently. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Firefly increases the personalized and emotional expression of the switch in indoor scenes, instead of a cold screen or a functional button, which enriches the interaction between people and smart home system products, and can meet the personalized needs of users. Firefly enhances the connection between the home virtual operating system and the real world. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Users can control the brightness through this smart room controller, just like you usually use smart phones and drawing boards. It can be used to adjust the lighting system to strengthen people's perception of light and the way of control, let the switch interact with users dynamically, encourage curiosity and human interaction with light sources, rather than define the control of indoor lighting as the control of opening and closing. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Conceptual plan will be conceived in September 2020, conceptual approach will be sought in 2021, technical support will be found in September 2021, and conceptual plan will be completed in September 2022. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Switches are usually wall-mounted and isolated from the home decor, and people seem to be used to this lopsided contrast. The Firefly is visually better integrated with the space background material, which allows users to choose a custom base material according to the home interior style. By connecting devices to adjust the lighting and projection requirements of different spaces based on the scene and the user's preference, bring more emotion to the function. The indoor lights are gathered and scattered like fireflies, while the human fingers instinctively have painting behavior, and the human imagination gives the fingers to paint the light distribution in the indoor space. CHALLENGE: Firefly interprets the shape with modern and exquisite details on the wall, which can adjust the customized base material according to the user's home material. The light control system are transmitted in the way of games, which makes the switch system more entertaining with user experience. The rich details and the materials of the wallpaper are linked and echoed, and efforts are made to establish a deeper relationship with the interior lighting, establish a deeper association and interaction.
