| DESIGN NAME: Seasun PRIMARY FUNCTION: Interior Design INSPIRATION: 1. Use elements of anime, vibrant colors and diverse ways of interaction to highlight the role of Seasun as a game developer and its corporate culture and spirit. 2. Starting with creating a nice atmosphere through an emotional design approach, the designers strive to invigorate the office space and fill both emotional and functional needs for an office room, thereby improving the mood and work efficiency of employees and promote the development of the company. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project is an office design for Seasun Games, a leading video game publisher in China. Based on the gaming culture of Seaun, the designers use different color schemes and elements of video games to create a vibrant, comfortable and healthy office area that features Japanese anime, vigorous colors and diverse ways of interaction. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: 1. Based on the functions and characteristics of the area, the designers use a variety of colors to give more personality to the space and create a sense of freshness and vitality through the contrast of colors. 2. The video game elements are either displayed directly to enhance the environment and relieve the pressure of employees, or hidden somewhere waiting to be discovered, giving people a surprise and bringing them the purest joy. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project began its design in June and construction in August 2021. It was completed in the city of Zhuhai in November. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Evocation as a technique is ingeniously used in the project. The ceilings, carpets and desks create associations with video games and bring a sense of nostalgia, which enhances the atmosphere of the interior space and helps relieve pressure of employees. As places for working, office rooms also require good sound insulation. Thus, the walls are made of acoustic felt panels sculpted into interesting geometric shapes, which not only achieve noise absorption but also serve as a soft decoration. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Area: 6532 square meters TAGS: office space, video game decor, anime, diverse interaction, color RESEARCH ABSTRACT: With the change of lifestyles and the improvement of life quality, people start to have new requirements for a modern office room. A spacious, bright, comfortable and aesthetic office space can make working more pleasant and directly improves the efficiency of employees. Additionally, most office rooms of Kingsoft, one of the earliest Internet software companies in China, have a simple, personalized and humanistic design. CHALLENGE: The project manages to create a personalized, vibrant office space through the use of dynamic colors. Yellow, green, blue and other bright colors are dotted in each functional area which is seamlessly connected through the transition of colors, showcasing the corporate image of a leading Internet company. The simple yet creative furniture adds elegance and energy to the office environment, offering employees an efficient, inspiring working experience while stimulating their creativity.
