DESIGN DETAILS
DESIGN NAME:
Grace Courtesy Notability

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Sales Office

INSPIRATION:
The project is located in Fengtai, Beijing, which is the capital of Jin Dynasty in the first year of Zhenyuan (1153) To make it the most prosperous commercial metropolis in the world at that time, we extracted it from the ruins of the city wall around the plot, which is translated into the definition of space symbol in the interior dimension and reflects the urban atmosphere of contemporary Beijing.

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The traditional commercial space will be transformed into an "idealistic" space with a sense of ancient Chinese religious ceremony. It will be interpreted in a " Inconspicuous" architectural way to perfectly interpret the momentum and introversion of oriental architecture. The overall space construction has the color of ancient Chinese imperialist architecture. With the city wall as the core, it divides the inside and outside of the boundary and reproduces the beauty of the ancient city.

OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
Walking along the city river, you can feel that the flow of "water", as the space track, and you can be intoxicated with the rhythm of the garden artistic conception on the Ting Bu. The half-hidden screen appears just right, which conveys the scenery implicitly, and at the same time, the functional appeal is interconnected. This implicit beauty, under the curtain, is also a kind of realm that the Chinese people pursue for space.

PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
It started in April, 2022 and has lasted for two months. The project was located in Fengtai, Beijing.

FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY:
Interior Space and Exhibition Design

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
Materials included stone in fish-maw-grey color, PU stone leather, yarn acrylic, wood, metal plate, gradient acrylic lighting. Used Process included 22-meter-long skyline without reinforcement point suspension processing, large-scale seamless metal plate reinforcement processing, simulation of full time skylight processing. Glass fiber tube light guide technology, stone light reflection treatment and pumping.

SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES:
The interior space covers about 693 square meters.

TAGS:
Obscure, Translated, Introverted, Extreme

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
We try to use the AI algorithm to segment and extract the space, and use the simplest block to do experiments. Supported by a large number of randomly generated schemes, we optimize the relatively closed space, establish the relationship and linkage of the space, and achieve the positioning from macro logical judgment to specific execution operations.

CHALLENGE:
Under the poor site conditions of single storey buildings that are flat, closed and lack of light, the design team challenged the function of planting a model room that occupies one third of the total area in the space. Finally, by using a complete city wall, the fragmented space will be integrated. The opening on the wall and the city river under the wall will make each space interesting and interconnected.
