| DESIGN NAME: Embrace Afterglow PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential Space INSPIRATION: The flowing light and air shuttle through the spaces of everyday life, connecting the life theater of every space. By flowing through the curved wall, it creates blank spaces and extends concision and aesthetic, which brings in abundant memorial moments in daily life and spices it with a sense of ritual. Even breathing is refreshing, making this place suitable for roaming the post-retirement life in peace.enjoying the scenery from sunrise to sunset during the day. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Through thoughtful arrangements for massing, openings and internal circulation, the need for environmental conditioning will be minimised, which ensures that spaces benefit from ample sunlight, natural ventilation and passive cooling. Imagine that the outdoor space extends to the indoors, and the living room area is regarded as a viewing garden, which is connected to various living places through the corridor, so that different areas can meet and interact. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Sitting in open balcony, overlooking the city, and enjoying the scenery from sunrise to sunset during the day. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Through thoughtful arrangements for massing, openings and internal circulation, the need for environmental conditioning will be minimised, which ensures that spaces benefit from ample sunlight, natural ventilation and passive cooling. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Area : 245 meter square This project is a residence with wonderful lighting and ventilation from all sides. It is a single-story and one-family building located on a high-rise building. There are six independent bedrooms; every two bedrooms are designed as a unit, and each unit share the same dressing area and restroom. The core of the site is a large-capacity living room and home table area that is open all day, suitable for gatherings and celebrations. There are different levels of extended white marble sofas, blurring the boundaries between living space and the urban landscape, while allowing spectacular views and refreshing airflow. TAGS: Healthy lives, back to nature, barrier-free connection, Concision, simplicity, elegance RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The curved wall mechanism maintains decent light, natural ventilation, which brings in significant benefits. In addition to reducing the impact of visual barriers, it also creates opportunities for connecting public spaces, enhances communications and conveniences, constructs a comfortable free area, and producing a quiet and comfortable atmosphere. CHALLENGE: The clean and elegant subtractive space has a feeling of snuggling up in simplicity and nature, glimpses of activity in the public and private areas through the gap between the virtual and the real, and the tone maintains the overall unity.
