| DESIGN NAME: China Animation PRIMARY FUNCTION: Museum INSPIRATION: The dream in the heart and the line, lets the dream shine into the reality, with the full enthusiasm, to the rich imagination expresses the human exploration and the understanding, to take the Meridians as the intermediary, to take the latitude as the quality, through the cognition to express the time and the space, to display design by means of science and technology in keeping with the Times. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project is located in Binjiang District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China, adjacent to the Phase II Exhibition Hall of Animation Plaza, with a total area of 20,000 square meters. The museum will take the development of Chinese animation as the main line, and the development of foreign animation as the auxiliary line at the same time. It will display the manuscripts of famous people and masterpieces, so that tourists can experience the atmosphere of animation and amusement. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The traditional manual animation area uses a fixed showcase combined with interactive touch query to display the basic craftsmanship of traditional manual animation. The 3D holographic cinema adopts an experience mode that combines holographic suspended images with real scenes and real performers. Two sets of slide rail interactive screens are set on the wall for 3D animation production, and the 3D animation production process is displayed with pictures and texts behind the screen. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project design started in 2019 in Longgang, Shenzhen, and the project was completed in June 2021 in Hangzhou, China. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The holographic projection film used in the example exhibition area is a new generation of display equipment, which has many unparalleled advantages such as high definition, strong light resistance, ultra-thin and anti-aging. The ground is made of rubber mat, floor paint, etc., which is waterproof and moisture-proof. The display cabinet uses optical glass with high light transmittance and absorption of ultraviolet damage. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The total area of the China Cartoon and Animation Museum is 20,000 square meters. The second phase of the animation square project covers nearly 40 acres of construction land, totaling 26,680 square meters. It mainly includes the China Animation Museum, the second-phase joint exhibition, and the three major sections of the civil air defense project. The designer's idea is to take the development of Chinese animation as the main line, and the development of foreign animation as the auxiliary line in the same period, to display the notes of famous people and original manuscripts of famous works, so that tourists can experience the atmosphere of animation amusement. CHALLENGE: The challenge lies in whether high-tech and exhibition design can be integrated with each other and complement each other, and whether the application of material technology is in place. From a historical perspective, it needs to be displayed as a collection of the overall history of animation development. From a social perspective, the overall design should enhance people's sense of interactive experience.
