But how could it be defined the same way with the growing shifts in technology and the speed in which we produce things. Since it is feasible for anyone to 3D print an object they designed online, a clear definition of art must prevail. Art should give meaning and purpose to the existence of the object created by the artist. Without purpose it is not art, for there is nothing to contemplate and sustain the viewers attention.
