Every designer is unique in their own way and brings something new to the world. Elliot brings his ideation and ability to mold his perception with target markets and future trends together allowing the audience/customers to fully relate to whatever was created.
I think art can be simplified as depiction times one's mind. I love learning and being inspired by other artists in all fields. Design can quantifiably be the connection between ones perception and understanding of some thing that translates into a visualization that literally creates something better aesthetically, no matter the medium.
