| DESIGN NAME: warm Sheath PRIMARY FUNCTION: Umbrella Sheath INSPIRATION: The design is the handle protection design of the umbrella, The handle part of ordinary umbrella don’t have the protection device. The hand will be very cool without gloves in the cold weather. After using this design, when the weather is cold, can turn the lagging over downward and set on the handle ,the cold wind will not blow to the hands, have heat preservation effect. After using this design, can turn the lagging up to package the umbrella when not using the umbrella , used as umbrella cover. It can also turn the lagging upward and form a small storage space, can put a few small things such as mobile phone and is convenient. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: In the winter ，the hand often freeze when holding somethings such as umbrella.The product is a kinds of umbrella,that the handle will be protect hands without freezing in the winter. This design inspiration comes from cabbage, cabbage are packaged by layers of leaves, packaged leaves inside will not be easily destroyed by the outside world. At the same time, through the analysis and experiment of various materials, silica gel can be achieved by comparing the effect finally. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: When you use the umbrella,firstly,you can open the button, turn down the silicone sleeve, and then open the umbrella,finally, put your hand into the jacket. When you close the umbrella, you first put the umbrella on, and then turn up the jacket , buckle on the button. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The design material is silica gel which can be used in injection molding process.It can be produced with umbrella handle at the same time, and also can be made separately ,then fit on the umbrella handle. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Product dimensions：Width 50mm x Depth 50mm x Height 150mm TAGS: umbrella,Sheath,hand RESEARCH ABSTRACT: With an umbrella sheath, people don't use umbrella withgloves, solve a very difficult problem. CHALLENGE: The design has simple structure, low material cost, and it is very easy to be realized in the process. NAME: Liaoning Shihua University PROFILE: Liaoning Shihua University (LSHU) is located in Fushun, overlooking the scenic banks of the Hunhe River. It enjoys a beautiful campus environment. LSHU was originally founded in Dalian in 1950 as the first petroleum school of New China. In 1953 the school was relocated to Fushun and in 1958 it was upgraded to Fushun Petroleum Institute. In February 2000 its leadership was transferred to the People’s Government of Liaoning Province, in light of the management system of “simultaneous construction by central and local governments, with the local government playing a more prominent role”. In October of the same year, Fushun Coal Industry School was incorporated into Fushun Petroleum Institute; in February 2002, with the approval of the Ministry of Education (MOE), Fushun Petroleum Institute was renamed as Liaoning Shihua University. Since its establishment 64 years ago, LSHU has educated more than 100,000 graduates, most of whom are now undertaking leading roles in management and technology in various fields such as petroleum, petrochemical engineering and the coal industry. |
